Property Manager
I actually have a friend to thank for my career in property. They suggested I give it a go back in 2019, and I’ve never looked back since. I started out in Canada, where I turned my hand to everything from lettings through to revenue analysis, building a real all-round feel for the industry along the way.
Now I’m thrilled to be back in my hometown of Gloucestershire as a Property Manager at Elliot Oliver, ready to share all of that experience and enthusiasm wherever I can. There’s nothing I enjoy more than helping people, whenever and wherever they need it.
For me, good property management comes down to building strong connections and trust: looking after landlords’ homes as though they were my own, and making sure tenants feel genuinely supported every step of the way. I’m always eager to learn something new and pass that knowledge on, and what keeps me motivated is simple. Every day brings a new problem to solve.
What sets Elliot Oliver apart is its personal touch. The team is friendly and professional, and always has the client’s best interests at heart, which makes it a brilliant place to do things properly.
My top tip for anyone letting or renting right now? Be flexible, well-prepared and motivated. It really does make all the difference.
Outside of work, I love to travel and try new things, but closer to home you’ll usually find me with my three cats, Barbara, Lewis and Kita. I feel lucky to live and work in Cheltenham. It’s such a beautiful, lively town, and I get to enjoy it every single day.
And one last thing: if I wasn’t in property, I’d probably have gone into criminology or psychology. These days, though, I get my fix of suspense from horror games, which I’m a big fan of!
