Life can be busy in Cheltenham, as it seems that everyone is doing something, be it hurrying to and from work, ferrying the kids around between school and clubs, or checking out the town’s amazing architecture.

What you need, then, is to dive into a coffee shop to stop, take a breath and refuel before getting back out there into the fray. If you don’t fancy a big chain brew, Cheltenham has quite a few independent cafes for you to try out.

The Coffee Dispensary, 18, Regent Street, Cheltenham

Monday to Saturday 9.00am to 5.30pm

Not only will you love the coffee that the knowledgeable staff will make for you, you can buy the beans and equipment to recreate the buzz at home.

Even better, The Coffee Dispensary sells cocktails, wines and beers between 6.00pm and 11.00pm Thursday to Saturday, as well as delicious cakes and pastries every day of the week.

The cafe is popular among locals and tourists alike for its friendly staff, great breakfasts and scotch eggs.
