The Brewery Quarter announced recently that camping equipment and outdoors clothing retailer GO Outdoors is to set up shop in the Wilko space after the home goods store closed in October 2023.
A large store
Moving into an impressively large 20,000 square feet space, GO Outdoors’ newest branch will be joining Urban Outfitters, Cineworld and Flight Club. This new addition will help to expand the Brewery Quarter’s varied retail environment. Shoppers will be able to browse and buy a large range of camping gear, hiking wear and lots of other outdoorsy supplies.
Go Outdoors “thrilled”
GO Outdoors CEO Lee Bagnall said that the retail chain was thrilled to be opening its new store at Cheltenham’s Brewery Quarter. The new opening means the chain can offer an even wider range of services and products to Cheltenham shoppers.
The company believes, added Lee, that the Brewery Quarter, with its emphasis on leisure and its great existing facilities, is the ideal fit for the GO Outdoors brand. GO Outdoors looks forward to becoming an integral part of the Brewery Quarter community.
The Brewery Quarter is excited to welcome GO Outdoors
Nikki Kontarines, director at Martin Commercial Properties, which manages the Brewery Quarter, shares Lee’s enthusiasm. She said that the agency is excited to welcome GO Outdoors to the retail and leisure complex.
The presence of the store, she added, emphasises the Brewery Quarter’s dedication to promoting active lifestyles among its customers.
In even better news, the opening of GO Outdoors at the Brewery Quarter means that the retail complex will have a 99% occupancy rate. This variety of offerings and the busy atmosphere it’ll create will all help to make the complex the main destination for entertainment, shopping and leisure in Cheltenham.
GO Outdoors will be opening its doors in autumn
Although a definite opening date is yet to be announced, GO Outdoors will be opening in the Brewery Quarter in autumn 2024.
