Cheltenham is already known around the world for its many festivals, most notably the jazz and food festivals, but since 2007 there’s been a new event in town – the 2000Trees Festival.

This year 2000Trees runs from Wednesday July 10 to Saturday July 13 and happens at Upcote Farm, Withington, Cheltenham GL54 4BL (just eight miles from Cheltenham town centre).

Will you enjoy 2000Trees?

We’ve created a handy checklist to help you to work out whether you’ll love 2000Trees. If you can answer yes to at least two of these questions, then you should book your tickets right now.

Do you want a family-friendly festival?

2000Trees is very family friendly indeed, with several play areas, its own Forest School and even a musical stage for kids to have a go at performing.

Do you love fancy dress?

If you do, then you’ll be even happier to find out that you can win tickets for 2000Trees 2025 by looking your horrific best on the Saturday. The theme for 2024’s fancy dress is 2000SCREAMS, so bring your best Halloween costume along even though it’s summer!

Do you love great food?

There’s more than 30 food stalls at 2000Trees, with everything from churros and gyros to vegan fried chicken and everything in between.

Do you like poets, podcasts and philosophers?

If you like to take some time out to think and learn then 2000Trees can help you with its Word Stage, where you can listen to speakers, join discussions and talk to writers and musicians. There’s also a bit of comedy here and there to inject a bit of fun into the proceedings.

Do you like live bands?

It goes without saying that any self-respecting festival will have a brilliant lineup of bands and artists and 2000Trees won’t disappoint you. The headliners are The Gaslight Anthem and they’re joined by Boston Manor, Manchester Orchestra, Enola Gay, Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls and so many more.
