Charlton Kings’ Clock Tower pub is back and is better than ever after a £140,000 revamp. The pub is now sporting new seating and wallpaper as well as a new darts board, a new colour scheme and an inviting menu.

The Clock Tower’s bar also has a new look and the team has undergone extra training, making the pub an attractive place to visit for anyone moving to the Charlton Kings area.

New landlord “excited” about reopening

New landlord Huw-Morgan Evans said that he and the team were excited to be reopening and showing off the revamped pub to guests, including loyal customers and new visitors.

Community hero pulls first pint

Community hero Josie Houghton, who runs Let’s Cook With Josie – a council-funded company which offers cooking classes to the local community – pulled the first pint at the pub’s reopening.

Lots of events and great food

As well as a new look and menu, the Clock Tower’s new start includes a full diary of events throughout the week, including live music and comedy, open mic nights, bingo and a quiz night.

The Clock Tower’s new menu includes Thai curries and pub favourites like American-style hotdogs.
